Overview

Mesa Riverview is a modern outdoor shopping center in the northwest section of the city. From Bass Pro Shops and Sports Authority to Marshalls and Jo-Ann Fabrics, the whole family will find a favorite store. There are more than 30 to choose from, and some are a cultural experience.

Take Sheplers Western Wear, for instance. It’s a one-stop shop for dressing like a cowboy or cowgirl. Start with the essentials: Wrangler jeans, leather boots and a cowboy hat. Then browse through selections of western jewelry, décor, baby clothes and purses.

Mesa Riverview also has more than 20 casual and sit-down restaurants, as well as Cinemark theaters, bars and live music. Try the Cactus Moon Sports Grill, known as the “Home of the $5 Dozen Wings.” Friends are always competing at its foosball tables, and at night, a DJ starts a party around the 1,000-sqaure-foot dance floor.
