Ice staking is a Sun Valley tradition. Every summer, Summer Valley Ice Shows lure visitors to the Sun Valley Ice Rink outside of the Sun Valley Lodge. Although these shows once began as amateurs spinning around on ice, they are now famous events, attracting Olympic medalists and some of the best figure skaters in the world. Dine al fresco in stadium seating as skates chisel the ice in dramatic displays of human movement.
