Amish Country Store
Branson, Missouri
Overview
The Amish Country Store is the epitome of homemade. In 1999, locals Terry and Darlene Whalen decided to bring Amish products to the storefront, and it’s no surprise the concept stuck. It’s hard to beat the pickles, baking mixes, noodles, coffee, honey, jellies, preserves, popcorn and jerky that line its modest isles. You’ll never find a better paring knife for $5, and the hand-fashioned wooden furniture is of the sturdy, solid kind. Step in here for a refreshing breath if the commercialization of Branson attractions has you feeling lightheaded!
