BONNIEBROOK GALLERY, MUSEUM, AND HOMESTEAD
Branson, Missouri
Overview
Fifteen minutes outside of Branson you will find the Bonniebrook House, Kewpie Museum and Rose O’Neill Art Collection, which give tribute to Rose O’Neill who resided here for a large portion of her life. O’Neill was an illustrator, artist and writer who created the popular Kewpie cartoons and was a women’s suffrage activist in the early 1900s.
View the Booniebrook House, a recreation of her 14-room Ozark mansion, and the beautiful surrounding grounds. The original mansion burned to the ground a few years after her death. If you’re intrigued, a visit inside the museum and gallery are well worth it!
