Overview

You don’t have to go far to find an outdoor adventure in Reno. The Truckee River Whitewater Park is at the center of downtown. It features 11 pools and a racing course for kayaking. So walk on down and rent a kayak, canoe, raft or inner tube to navigate the drops, current and boulders lining the river. Spectators are welcome, especially during the Reno River Festival each spring.
