TITANIC BRANSON
Titanic Branson is the world’s largest museum attraction, and a very interactive one at that. Board the ship as a passenger, holding the boarding pass of a real person who climbed aboard that fateful April in 1912. You’ll learn if they survived or not in the Titanic Memorial Room.
Regardless of your passenger’s fate, you’ll experience some of the things they did. Walk an exact replica of the Grand Staircase, shovel “coal” in the Broiler Room and feel the slopping of the ship’s stern as she begins to sink. Learn how to send an SOS distress signal, sit in a lifeboat, touch a real piece of an iceberg and stick your hand into 28-degree water.
As you walk the eerie hallways and rooms, you’ll come in contact with more than 400 artifacts remaining from the ship and passengers. In total, they are worth $4.5 million.
Titanic Branson continues to add new exhibits. Most recently, it opened the Musicians’ Gallery to honor those who came together to play music as the ship sank.

RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is full of the strange and fascinating. The building itself purposefully has large cracks down its façade in memory of the famous Missouri earthquake of 1812. Nearly an 8.0 on the Richter Scale, it caused the Mississippi River to run backward for three days. Inside the odditorium, you’ll face similarly bizarre facts, art and artifacts. DOGWOOD CANYON NATURE PARK
Drive south of Branson to experience the beautifully preserved Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. The founder of Bass Pro Shops, Johnny Morris, purchased the initial land in 1990 in the name of conservation. Today you can explore 10,000 untouched acres of Ozark wilderness within its borders.
Its deep blue waters are hard to describe. Narrow waterfalls release spray as they pour down ridged rocks. Green trees and grassy banks give way to vibrant displays of fall foliage when autumn arrives. And when winter comes, tranquil streams cut through snow-blanketed forests. There are many ways to take in the fresh air. Pick a trail to hike, try a horseback riding lesson, rent a Segway, go fly fishing, attempt 3D archery or bike across shaded paved paths.

LAKE TANEYCOMO
Schools of fishers form around Lake Taneycomo every year, but this wasn’t always the case. In fact, the lake has only existed for about a century. It began when the “Power Site” Dam was created, capturing the White River’s waters. In the mid-1900s, the debut of Table Rock Dam established a southern boundary for the lake. This new dam also transformed the warm-water lake into a cold-water one. And it’s this change that allowed for the development of a cold-water fishing hatchery and the explosion of trout.

TABLE ROCK DAM AND POWERHOUSE
Never seen a dam? History buff? Into energy conservation? Fascinated by engineering feats? Then add a stop to see Table Rock Dam and Powerhouse. Constructed in the mid-1900s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the dam serves a dual purpose. It generates hydro-electric power and controls flooding for the White and lower Mississippi rivers. One positive side-effect has been the creation of a cold water fishery at the foot of the dam. Called the Shepherd of the Hills Trout Hatchery, it has turned the area into a trout fishing destination.
